The design of the Hudson evokes the river’s consistent current and the energy it evokes. Beyond artistic movement, nature is one of Mimi's highest forms of inspiration. When she was living in the city of concrete, she took her mind off of the hustle and bustle by sailing on the Hudson River, which inspired these lines.
